Child Nutrition Bill and Reducing Obesity

Many children depend on the School Lunch and Summer Food programs as their primary source of nourishment.  Increasingly we are seeing ways to address both hunger and obesity; and promote a healthier lifestyle through our child nutrition programs.  Fundamental changes to these programs are put forth in the current Child Nutrition Bill -- starting kids on a healthier path and reducing the costly trend of childhood obesity.
